This listing is for 1 set of 4 handbuilt plates with a very hungry caterpillar theme. They are made with a beige porcelain clay and painted and then finished with a glossy clear glaze. They are the perfect size for dessert or a side. I have a set of this sized plate and I use them every day.
NOTE: there is a tiny imperfection on each of these plates. None of these things should affect their functionality (they are still food and dishwasher safe) or their lifespan. Please look closely at all the pictures to make sure you're ok with them! To be honest, all of these things are totally normal occurrences for handmade ceramics, and so they just happen sometimes! This plate set is listed for $100 off the regular price ($375).
Fruits plate: a tiny pin-sized pinhole where there is no glaze (possibly a speck of dust on it when glazing?)
Junk food plate: there are unintentional black speckles on it (possibly from the kiln! there's speckles/iron floating around in there sometimes)
Caterpillar plate: a spot on the eye where the underglaze paint and the clear glaze had some sort of reaction so it's bubbled a bit
Butterfly plate: a tiny bump/raised speck (possibly a rogue piece of clay that wasn't smoothed before firing or maybe an imperfection in the glaze)
The glaze used is food and dishwasher safe.
