This listing is a set of two plates made by hand on the potter's wheel. As they are handmade, they are not *exactly* the same, but they are the same size in diameter and height and they stack.
This set of plates are made from a speckled, light-brown stoneware clay and glazed with a glossy white glaze on the inside only, leaving the exposed stoneware clay on the outside. The nature of the clay body allows beautiful speckles to show through the lovely glossy white glaze.

The glaze used is food safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe.
A note about shipping costs:
Shipping costs are based on weight and ceramics are heavy! These two plates weigh in for a total of 23 oz (1 lb 7 oz). With shipping boxes + packaging materials, it will end up being at least 2.75 lbs. If it's any more than that, I'll cover the difference. Thanks for your understanding!
