This was intended to be a mug, but there were a couple of issues on the inside of the mug with the glaze that I would not be confident saying it is food safe/durable. I think it would *probably* be, but I can't say so confidently, so I'm discounting it ($15 from $60) and selling it as a planter/pot/pencil holder. It is glazed in a white glossy glaze on the inside and on the handle.

A note about shipping: I know it seems pricey, but ceramic items are heavy (this cup clocks in at around 16 oz + packaging materials to keep it safe in transit and it's at least 2 lbs. when it's all said and done. Thanks for your understanding!
