This one of a kind vessel / planter was made on the potter's wheel. Then it is hand-brushed with raku glazes and fired in the raku style. Raku is a type of low-firing process that was inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing. Note: they might still totally smell like a campfire when you get them!
IMPORTANT NOTE: This glaze / firing technique is not food safe. Technically the temp this piece is fired to does not achieve "vitrification" so they are not truly waterproof. It's a cute decorative piece for some flowers or a plant. Also note the lighting I have taken photos of may look different than the lighting at your house. The colors are most vibrant in sunlight.
4.75 inches wide (opening diameter)
4.5 inches tall
A note about shipping: I know it is pricey, but ceramic items are heavy (this vase weighs in at around 20 oz + packaging materials to keep it safe in transit and it's at least 2 lbs. when it's all said and done. Thanks for your understanding!
