This vase / planter was made on the potter's wheel. Then it is hand-brushed with raku glazes and fired in the raku style. Raku is a type of low-firing process that was inspired by traditional Japanese raku firing. This one has copper raku glaze painted on it like petals and the bottom half is left unglazed. Note: they might still totally smell like a campfire when you get them!
3.75 inch wide
3.75 inch tall
It's a cute decorative piece for a plant.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This glaze / firing technique is not food safe.
A note about shipping: I know it is pricey, but ceramic items are heavy (this vase weighs in at around 10 oz + packaging materials to keep it safe in transit and it's at least 2 lbs. when it's all said and done. Thanks for your understanding!
