This listing is for a set of orange porcelain dinnerware. I mason-stained the clay so the clay is orange (not the glaze). The inside only is glazed with a clear glossy glaze.
Porcelain is a little less "hard" as compared to stoneware, but it's so fine and nice to the touch, so I would use these with care. I do have plenty of porcelain dinnerware that I use daily for years that I haven't had any issues with. The glaze used is food, microwave, and dishwasher safe.
Approximate dimensions:
2x small bowls: 3.5 inches wide x 1.5 inches tall
2x medium bowls: 5 inches wide x 2.5 inches tall
1x medium-large bowl: 6.25 inches wide x 2.75 inches tall
4x plates: 7 inches across x 0.76 inches tall
NOTE: one of the plates has a little hairline crack in the crease that is sealed with glaze. It does not affect the functionality of the plate. Unfortunately I only made exactly 4 plates. If you would like this set but only want the 3 plates, I'll subtract $25.
Note: the bowls and plates are not 100% identical in shape and size, but they are close and they stack. I don't make things that are perfectly the same :)
