The clay body is a speckled reddish-tannish stoneware clay. The inside is glazed with a glossy white glaze and the outside is left unglazed, to show the beautiful speckled clay and painted with yellow smiley faces all around.

A note about shipping: I know it is pricey, but ceramic items are heavy (this vase weighs in at around 15oz + packaging materials to keep it safe in transit and it's at least 1.75 lbs. when it's all said and done. Thanks for your understanding!
