This spoon rest is hand thrown on the potters wheel out of an ivory porcelain clay. The inside is glazed with a grey-blue speckled glaze.

It is glazed in a glossy white glaze on the inside and outside, allowing the a slight speckle to break through which comes from the natural iron content in the clay.
